Dubai witnessed a grand Bollywood affair as Salman Khan launched his nephew Ayaan Agnihotri’s latest track, Universal Laws, on Thursday.

The event, held at an upscale venue, saw a strong presence of Bollywood celebrities, including Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan, Neha Dhupia, and Angad Bedi among others.

Hosted by Dubai Bling’s DJ Bliss, the evening was a showcase of music, glamour, and camaraderie.

Salman Khan’s take on nepotism

A video from the event has been making waves on social media, where Salman Khan openly addressed the topic of nepotism with his characteristic wit. As DJ Bliss praised the Khan family’s unwavering support for one another, Salman quipped, "That’s what nepotism is."

The remark sent the audience into laughter, highlighting his candid approach to the industry debate.

Salman, in a light-hearted manner, continued, "His (Ayaan’s) parents, good producers. Both the kids, Alizeh and Ayaan." The audience responded with cheers as Ayaan’s song was launched.

Ayaan, who goes by the stage name Agni, is the son of Atul Agnihotri and Alvira Khan Agnihotri, Salman’s sister.

Ayaan’s musical journey

Ayaan had previously collaborated with Salman Khan on the track You Are Mine, composed by Vishal Mishra. Reflecting on his experience, Ayaan revealed in an earlier interview that Salman had personally involved him in the song’s production.

With Universal Laws, Ayaan aims to establish himself as a multi-talented artist. The track, produced, mixed, and mastered by Aditya Dev, combines lyrical depth with innovative beats, showcasing his versatility as a rapper, lyricist, and composer.

On the other hand, Salman Khan was last seen in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and Tiger 3 in 2023. The 59-year-old has yet to announce a major release for 2025.
